Doris Ruth Kaiser

Doris Ruth Gates Kaiser, 77, of Nanuet, formerly of Westchester County, NY and Ft. Myers, FL, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 2, 2009. Doris was the daughter of the late Mary Lillian McKee and the late William Gates; sister to the late John Gates; beloved wife to the late George Kaiser; mother of Stephen (Leslie) Braun and Conrad George Kaiser; stepmother to Ronald Braun, Karen Braun and George Kaiser II; grandmother of Jason Kaiser, Miles Alpert-Braun, Dana (Rich) Wrobel, and Melanie (Alex) Melo; great grandmother of Alexander Melo, Parker Melo, and Aiden Wrobel. Doris is predeceased by her first husband, Adolf Eddie Braun. Born June 16, 1932, in New York, NY, Doris lived most of her life in Westchester County until she retired to Florida with her husband George. Anyone who ever met Doris will remember her bright blue eyes, her feisty spirit, and her fun and outgoing personality. Doris was known to be a very stylish lady who enjoyed gatherings with friends and family filled with laughter. Doris returned to New York recently due to failing health.
