Dominick M. D'Arrigo

Dominick Matteo D'Arrigo passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday January 28 at his residence. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elvira Goscione, his 3 daughters, Lorraine Calebrese ( late Anthony Calebrese) of Patterson, NY , Deborah Hoffer of Thornwood and Cheryl D'Arrigo of Valhalla. He took delight in his grandchildren, Candace Munoz (Alex) of Patterson, NY, Jason Calebrese (Stephanie), New Orleans, LA , Adam Hoffer (Maria) US Navy, Norfolk, VA . Ashley Hoffer and Nicholas & Brianna Greto and 4 great grandchildren Toni-Anne & James Munoz and Olive & Harvey Jane Calebrese. He also had a close relationship with his sister in law and brother in law Antonio and Geri Pinto and was "Uncle Dom " to many nieces and nephews. Dominick served in the US Army and was a shop steward with Local Laborers #9 and is a lifetime member. Both he and Vera served as ushers at Holy Innocents Church. Dominick was very active with the Pleasant Seniors of Mt Pleasant where he served as President for 20 years. He was also a member of the Thornwood American Legion, the Italian American Club and the Knights of Columbus. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home from Tuesday (today) 4pm to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Innocents Church in Pleasantville, NY on Wednesday at 10am. Entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Dialysis Center of Hawthorne, 19 Bradhurst Avenue, Hawthorne, NY or American Legion of Thornwood, NY
