Dolores A. Colonna

Dolores A. Colonna 79, most recently of Wappinger Falls, N.Y. and formerly of Carmel, N.Y. died on Oct. 14, 2012 at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. She was born on May 26, 1933 to the late William and Julia Schmit in Brooklyn, N.Y. Dolores was a food service mgr. for many years. She loved animals, cooking and fishing. Dolores is survived by her devoted husband, Harold Blevin and her loving children, Robert (Denise) DiNozzi of Katonah, N.Y., Paul (Lorraine) DiNozzi of Ossining, N.Y., Frank DiNozzi of Chicago, IL and Susan (Michael) Furka of San Diego, CA. two brothers, Eugene and William Kuch both of Mont Pilier, VT. Also survived by her 12 cherished grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Wednesday, 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Thursday, 10 AM. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to any Humane Society would be appreciated.
