Delphine "Del'' Villani (nee Del Grosso) born in the Bronx, NY on August 23, 1925 twin to Romegio, sister to Joseph, Constance, Theresa, Gemma, Elvira and Gloria, all deceased. She is also pre-deceased by James Villani, her husband and the love of her life for 58 years. She was a loving Aunt (14), Great-Aunt (21), Great-Great Aunt (17), and Great-Great-Great Aunt (1) to 53 nieces and nephews who she adored! During WWII she was Rosie the Riveter, serving her country. She retired from Royal Typewriter, where she worked for 35 years. Del enjoyed dancing, even auditioned for the Rockettes, and could still high kick until a few years ago. Del loved to go to Atlantic City and was a fantastic card player. She had a quick wit and sharp memory reliving and reenacting her childhood stories entertaining the generations. She cherished her time with family and friends. In a word, Del was MEMORABLE. Due to the Current World Health Crisis, a private family burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
