David Seguin Junker, a retired employee for American Home Products, a long-time area resident and a former resident of Scarsdale, N.Y., died Monday, February 5th at St. Luke's Hospital, New York. He was 89.
The son of Harold Junker and Esther Seguin Junker Tripp, he was born on February 21, 1917 in Freeport, IL. He was a graduate of Princeton University, class of 1939, and earned a J.D. from Harvard University in 1942. He was known for his love and knowledge of New York City, photography, stamp collecting, love of music and was an avid reader.
Survivors include his nieces, Alexandra Franklin and her husband, Allen, of Goode, VA; Heidi Junker Coleman and her husband, Martin, of Monroe, NY; four nephews, Christopher J. Knott and his wife, Leona, of Moseley, VA; Jeffrey D. Junker and his wife, Carol, of Greenwich, CT; John R. Junker of White Plains, NY; and James E. Junker and his wife, Gerry, of Lake Carmel, NY; and several grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Ruth J. Knott, and brother, Harold Junker, Jr.
Internment will be private at Kensico Cemetery.
