David Cornelio Bravo, age 85, of White Plains, NY, passed away peacefully Monday night, March 27, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Dora(Muñoz); sons, Willy (Luz) Bravo, Jose Bravo, Jhonny (Sonia) Bravo; daughter, Mary (Herbert) Quevedo; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Jeremias Bravo de Ramirez and Zenaida (Victor) Avendano; brother, Antonio (Juana) Bravo; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife, Adelina Agé�ero; parents Hermes Bravo and Alfonsa Oliva; brothers, Julian Bravo and Marcial Bravo; and sister, Genoveva Arquinio.
He immigrated to the United States in 1981 and worked for Pellegrino's Bakery and then for Pleasantville Cottage School until his retirement in 2002. While he was still working, he helped open Bravo Peru Restaurant with his son, Jose, in 1990 in Port Chester and White Plains.
Visitation will be at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home on Thursday March 30, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:30 AM.
