Cy Leighton

Cy Leighton (aka Samuel C. Levine) died on March 31st, 2012. Mr. Leighton was born in the Bronx NY on November 14, 1920. He graduated from NY University. He was a United States Army Staff Sergeant, serving in the 3rd Army, Member of the Greatest Generation and the Band of Brothers""from Normandy through to the Battle of the Bulge where he received a Purple Heart. Owner of Danleigh Insulation & Supply Corp. for 40 years, past President of The Builders Institute of Westchester County. He was married more than 65 years to Bernice Levine. Survived by 3 daughters, Linda Greenfield, Barbara Levine and Sandra Levine; 3 sons-in-law, Dr. Andrew Greenfield, Attorney Frederick S. Gold, and Henry Nelson; 3 granddaughters, Dani Greenfield, Samantha Reiff and Alexandra Gold, and Grandson-in-law Howard Reiff.
