Cosimo Accumanno

Cosimo Accumanno 89,  formerly of Bronx, N.Y., New Windsor, N.Y. and Port Charlotte, Fla. died on Jan. 24, 2018. He was born on Oct. 28, 1928 to the late Peter and Joseppina (nee Ennazzo) Accumanno in Corleone, Italy. He was a master craftsman and retired bricklayer and a member of Local 5 Bricklayers Union in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Cosimo was dedicated to his family.  He was predeceased by his devoted wife, Jenny Accumanno and by his two deceased sisters and three deceased brothers. He is survived by his loving sons, Peter (Vicki) Accumanno of Somers, N.Y., John (Anna) Accumanno of Norwalk, CT and formerly of Valhalla, N.Y., Joseph (Kathy) Accumanno of Bedminster, NJ and Mario (Loretta) Accumanno of Dover, Del. Also survived by his eleven cherished grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday (today) 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Entombment, Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Michael J. Fox Parkinsons Foundation P.O.
