Corsignana Marzella

Corsignana Marzella, of Elmsford, NY, entered into Eternal Life on September 7, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was 82 years old. Mrs. Marzella was born April 26, 1932 in Giovinazzo, Bari, Italy, daughter of the late Tommaso Illuzzi and Rosaria Gagliardi Illuzzi. Surviving are daughter, Antonia Marzella (Joseph) Newbury of Irving, NY and son, Nicola (Josephine) Marzella of White Plains, NY. She is also survived by her five grandchildren Joseph, Anthony and Mark Marzella and Danielle and Joseph Newbury. Corsignana was predeceased by her husband, Giuseppe Marzella in 2002 and her son Tommaso in 2005. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford, Thursday 10am. Entombment will follow in the Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY. Friends will be received at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, Elmsford Chapel on Wednesday from 1-3 and 6-9pm.
