Concetta Carrea, age 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 24, 2020. She was born on May 1, 1931 in Colledimezzo, Italy to Antonio and Luisa (Marchionno) Olivieri. She was married to Lorenzo Carrea in Italy and then came to the United States. She was predeceased by her husband Lorenzo Carrea, as well as her granddaughter, Cristina.

Concetta is survived by her 4 children, Jimmy (Mirella) Carrea, Ernesina (Randy) Couch-Cairns, Lorenzo (Kathy) Carrea and Louise Carrea. Concetta is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, Stefanie, James (Mary), Kenny, Tracey, Ashley, Vinnie, Kristin and Kayla, as well as her 3 great-grandchildren, Elisa, Lydia and Vivian.

Concetta loved to crochet blankets and make pizzelles. She donated her blankets to the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially her plants and garden.

Please join us in celebrating her life with visitation on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 4pm-8pm at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home at 72 East Main Street, Elmsford, NY. A Mass will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 10am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Elmsford, NY.
