Clifford S. Gilbert passed away on September 17, 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was forty-five years of age. Born November 17, 1964, he was the son of Thomas and Rosann Gilbert of Manhattan. Clifford made many people laugh; he had a big heart and was a gentle soul. Trained as a mechanic, he repaired all types of engines and a master of his trade. Moreover, he had a deep appreciation for the magic of music. Clifford will be missed by all of the friends he made in Hollywood and elsewhere.
Clifford is survived by his father and stepmother, Marjorie Gilbert, of Purchase, NY; a step-brother Douglas Gorlin of Hollywood, CA; a step-brother Bill Gorlin and his wife Natalie of Briarcliff, NY; a step-sister Wendy Tayer and her husband Marc of Del Mar, CA; and by his five cherished nieces and nephews, Madeleine, Melanie and Jason Tayer and Richard and Michael Gorlin. He was predeceased by his mother and his brother, Evan Gilbert.
The family is having a private funeral service at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY. The Gilberts are receiving visitors at their home in Purchase, NY on Thursday, September 23, from 5-7 p.m.
