Clara D. Bardong 98, formally of Hawthorne, NY most recently of Inverness, IL passed away peacefully on May 3, 2015. Clara was born on April 7, 1917 to the late Peter P. and Clara Bardong nee Reichard in New York City. She was an executive secretary for the Readers Digest in Chappaqua, NY for many years. Clara was also a member of the Womens Guild in Pleasantville, NY. Clara was predeceased by her loving sister Catherine Jamieson. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Sunday from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, NY on Monday at 10AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY, immediately following.
