Charles S. Russo 94, a lifelong resident of White Plains, N.Y. died on March 21, 2012 at Greenwich Hospital. He was born on Sept.19, 1917 to the late Enrico and Frances (nee Sullo) Russo in White Plains, N.Y. Charlie proudly served in the US Navy during WWII in Sai Pan. He was a retired general forman with Con Edison in Eastview for 45 years retiring in 1981. Charlie was active with the Republican Party in White Plains and was a founder and lifelong charter member of the Roma AC Club in White Plains, N.Y. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Lucy Russo in 1992 and is survived by his devoted son Charles A. Russo and daughter in law Jane of West Harrison, N.Y. his two loving granddaughters; Stacey and Charlene Russo and his sister, Frances Bochetto. Predeceased by two sisters, Louise and Henrietta (Dolly) and one brother, Benny. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Thursday (today) 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Anthony of Padua Church, West Harrison, N.Y. on Friday 10 AM. Interment, Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.
