Charles P. Forcelli

Charles P. Forcelli 92, of Yonkers, N.Y. died on Sept.11, 2009 at Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, N.Y. He was born on Sept.28, 1916 to the late Frank and Josephine (nee Genovese) Forcelli in Yonkers, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. Charles was a Heavy Equipment Operating Engineer for Local 137 in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. He was predeceased by his 1st wife Frances Forcelli, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Charles is survived by his former 2nd wife Priscilla Forcelli of Del Ray Beach, Fla. His loving children; Charlene Grupusso and her husband Vincent of Carmel, N.Y. Dawn Forcelli of Yonkers, N.Y. Robert Forcelli and his wife Mary Alice of Yonkers, N.Y. and Charles Forcelli, Jr. and his wife Denise of Wappingers Falls, N.Y. 1 brother Frank Forcelli of Valhalla, N.Y. and 2 sisters Lillian Johnson of Tampa, Fla. and Rose McCrite of Oklahoma City, OK. Also survived by 8 cherished grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Tuesday 10 AM. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Rosary Hill Home 600 Linda Ave. Hawthorne, N.Y. 10532 would be appreciated.
