Charles E Danowski

Charles Danowski, a devoted family man and educator passed away on August 2, 2023. He resided in Cross River for over 50 years, alongside his late wife, Chris.

Charles leaves behind a son, Robert Danowski, a daughter, Ellen Dellicolli, and five cherished grandchildren. His love and caring as a dedicated husband, father and grandfather will forever resonate.

Professionally, Charles excelled as the superintendent of schools in Irvington and North Salem as well as a professor at SUNY New Paltz.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Charles was known for his infectious sense of humor, incredible compassion and love of science fiction.

As we bid farewell, let's remember Charles Danowski for the love he shared, the knowledge he spread, and the laughter he brought. His legacy lives on through his family, friends, students, and everyone he touched. May his soul find eternal peace.
