Charles A. Broussard

Charles A. Broussard 88, most recently of Trumbull, Conn. and formerly of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on June 10, 2013. He was born on Jan.10, 1925 to the late Alexander and Elizabeth (nee Benoit) Broussard in Summerville, Mass. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He was a retired repairman with New York Telephone Co. for forty two years retiring in 1988. Charles is survived by his devoted wife, Jean (nee Stevenson) Broussard of Trumbull, Conn. and by his loving children, Mark of Warwick, RI, Roswell (Debbie) of Scottsdale, AZ, Stephen (Laurie) of Wappingers Falls, N.Y., Mary of Trumbull, Conn. and Carol (David) Romeu of New City, N.Y. two sisters, Theresa Dailey and Bernadette Sipos. also survived by his seven cherished grandchildren and one great grandson. Predeceased by five sisters and one brother. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Thursday (today) 2-6 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
