Cesidia Holden of White Plains, New York, died after a short illness on September 2, 2006, at the age of ninety. Mrs. Holden was born in Katonah, New York, to Loreto and Lucia Gallo on September 9, 1915. She was raised and educated in Pleasantville. In 1938 she married the late Stephen Holden Jr., keeping their home in White Plains for over sixty years. Mrs. Holden is survived by her sister, Marfisa Baker of Salt Point, and her sons Stephen Holden III (Susan) of Rye Brook, and Randall Holden (Suzanne) of White Plains, five grand-children and two great-grand children. A brother, Guerino Gallo, and a sister, Elvira Tramontozzi, predeceased her. Mrs. Holden's loving family and those who knew her will remember her for her sense of humor, polite manners, compassion, generosity, and kindness.
