Catherine E. MacDonald

Catherine MacDonald of Hawthorne, NY passed away on April 6, 2020 of complications from CoronaVirus-19.  Catherine was born on March 28, 1938 to Frank Galati and Rose Luposello, and they lived in Croton on Hudson, NY. Catherine Graduated from Mary Immaculate High School in 1956 and worked at AT&T until her retirement.  She is survived by her younger brother Joseph A. Galati, married to Frances D. Galati living in Garrison, NY. She is predeceased by her husband Edward MacDonald who died in 2010. She also has many loved nieces and nephews. David and Leonor Galati and their children Angelica and Joseph, Todd Galati and his children Brooke and Hayley, and Leonor’s sister Farah Varquez. Catherine also has many and much loved cousins on her Luposello and Galati side of her family. Many of her much loved relatives on her father’s, Galati side of the family living in Canada.  When allowed, a special memorial Mass for Catherine will be offered at her local parish, Holy Name of Jesus in Valhalla. Private Family Burial at St. Augustine's Cemetery, Ossining, N.Y.
