Catherine Hermena Culp Evins

Survived by her sister Stephany Culp Raffio, her best friend Amy Molinari, several cousins, and many dear friends.
From her early years Cathy was a go getter. At nine years old she was baptized at the Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church and at twelve she was president of the Sunshine Junior Missionary Department. She was an active member of the Brownies and Girl Scouts. She organized her cousins into a club and had a club house in her grandparents backyard. When she was older she pursued her interests in publishing, photography, graphic arts, fine art and culinary arts.
Cathy established Mena Publishing and Brian Studios, graphic arts and designs. She taught art in Tehran, Iran. An avid artist, her works expressed real life to abstracts and portraits. Cathy also co-wrote and published a cookbook and was a chef at the White Plains Hotel.
She embraced life. When faced with difficulties and challenges, to quote Cathy from her own writings "I see my glass as neither half empty nor half full. I see my glass as filling up with hope and sometimes overflowing with miracles "* She will be fondly remembered by many to whom she brought sunshine and joy. * (c)2015 Cathy Culp
