Catherine J. Carpentieri 80, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on Oct.26, 2017. She was born on Feb.27, 1937 to the late Pat and Josephine (nee DeRienzo) Rutigliano in Bronx, N.Y. She was a retired secretary with Philips Laboratories in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. Catherine was a member of the Mt.Pleasant Seniors and the Mt.Pleasant Italian American Association. She loved Arts and Crafts Festivals and was an accomplished Bocce Player. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ralph Carpentieri of Thornwood, N.Y. and by her loving children, Vincent and Linda Carpentieri , both of Peekskill, N.Y. one sister, Rosalie (Gary) Smith of Long Island and one brother, Frank (Phyliss) Rutigliano of Fla. also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, Saturday, (today) 3-6 PM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Ave. Hawthorne, N.Y. 10532 would be appreciated.
