Carolyn Anthony Bellom, longtime resident of White Plains, NY, died peacefully on August 7 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Carolyn was born in NYC on June 12, 1927 and grew up in the Bronx.
Carolyn loved music; she had a beautiful singing voice and was a terrific dancer. She was an avid reader and an accomplished bowler. Carolyn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Loretta Bellom-Woltmann and Paul Woltmann; her son and daughter-in law, Richard and Bete Bellom, her granddaughter, Angelina Woltmann, and many beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Charles Bellom, and her sister, Lillian Kessler. Carolyn was charitable, kind and open-minded; she was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Viewing hours are Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave at South Broadway in White Plains. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday the 11th at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church in White Plains.
