Carole Bergendorff Frank, CPA, a Valhalla resident since 1963, died Tuesday October 20th, 2009 in Valhalla, NY at the age of 76. Ms. Frank, born in White Plains, NY, was daughter of the late Henry Bergendorff and Ellen Erickson. She attended White Plains High School, the Katherine Gibbs School in New York City, and graduated with a business administration degree from Pace University in 1981. She had a long career, beginning at Reichhold Chemicals in the 1950's, spending time at Seidman & Seidman, and finally in her own private practice, diligently serving clients through out Westchester for many years until her retirement in 2008. After marrying George A. Frank in 1956, she settled in Scarsdale and, in 1963, moved to Valhalla, where she raised her two children. She found deep comfort in her home on Highclere Lane. Carole's intelligence, warmth, and deep generosity will be missed greatly by her family and friends. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Jergen, of White Plains. She is survived by her son, George A. Frank Jr. of Kennebunk, ME, and her daughter, Suzanne C. Frank of Larchmont, NY. Also surviving her are her brother, Bobby Bergendorff of Brewster, NY, and her beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth, Hayley, Katherine, Kerry, Max, Ryan, and Shawn. She is also survived by a multitude of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
