Carmella Smith 89, formerly of Elmsford, N.Y. and most recently of Jacksonville, FL passed away on June 24, 2017 in Florida. Carmella was born on June 1, 1928 to the late Michael Angelo and Theresa (nee Spadafora) Furcola in West Harrison, N.Y. Carmella was predeceased by her loving husband George Smith in 2011. Carmella is survived by her two caring daughters Ann Neff of North White Plains, N.Y. Elizabeth Moccio of Jacksonville, FL. Also survived by her two sisters, one sister in law, four cherished grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother, four sisters, and one son in law Robert. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, Hawthorne, NY on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Where services will be held at 7:30 PM. Interment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, White Plains, N.Y. on Thursday.
