Carl H. Olsen

Carl H. Olsen of Wheatfield, NY formerly of Mahopac died on October 3, 2013 at the Buffalo General Hospital. He was 76. Mr. Olsen worked for General Motors, N. Tarrytown for over 30 years before retirement. Carl was born on September 6, 1937 in Dobbs Ferry to Herbert C. and May M. Schultz Olsen. He was a 1955 graduate of N. Tarrytown High School and a graduate of Kings College, Briarcliff Manor. He served in the US Army. Carl is survived by his wife Lynn, 3 daughters Carolyn Olsen, Debora Olsen and Amy (Leonard) Roman, 2 grandsons Jesse and Jake Roman and one sister Margaret Olsen. Calling hours at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 W. Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532 on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass St. Theresa Church, Briarcliff Manor on Wednesday at 10am. Interment following at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
