Bruce Winkelman

Bruce H. Winkelman passed away on July 18, 2014 at the age of 66 after a valiant struggle with lung cancer. (Don’t smoke). He was predeceased by his parents, John H. Winkelman and Patricia (Herguth) Winkelman. Bruce attended the Elmsford schools and graduated from Merchants & Bankers Business School in 1968. He was drafted into the Army in February of 1969 and served a tour of duty in Vietnam Fourth Infantry Division as an E-5. He is a Bronze Star recipient. He was employed for 36 years as a court reporter in Yonkers Family Court and retired in 2007. Bruce is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth, his son, Max, his daughter, Michelle, his brother, John Jr. and his sister Paula. A memorial celebration of life will be held at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, Elmsford, NY on July 26th, 2014 from 10am to 1pm.
