Beverly Joan McLean

Beverly Joan McLean 86, of Elmsford, N.Y. died on July 12, 2019 at Cortlandt Heathcare, Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. She was born on June 22, 1933 to the late Charles and Emily Roehrig in New Rochelle, N.Y. She was the beloved wife of the late William McLean and sister of Judith Ericson and her husband, John of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. She is also survived by her son, William and his wife, Jeanmarie of Ridgefield, CT and their two sons, Timothy and Christopher; her son, Donald of New Milford, CT (Donald’s wife, Colleen McLean predeceased Beverly), and their four children, Emily, Robert, Deirdre and Brendan. Beverly enjoyed a long career in administration at Manhattanville College and Iona College. Beyond her career, Beverly enjoyed gardening, making stained glass creations, and she spent years doing charity work for the Pocantico Hills Women’s Club. She and her loving husband enjoyed travel to Russia, Europe, the Mediterranean and Hawaii among other favorite destinations. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, 10 AM-11:30 AM. Where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM. Interment, Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
