Benjamin Weiner, 84, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 in White Plains, NY. Benjamin was born on January 30, 1932 to Tillie and Nathan Weiner in Queens, NY. He was a graduate of Stuyvesant High School and New York University, both located in New York City.
Benjamin served in the US Army from 1952 to 1954, earning two bronze stars for service during the Korean War. He went on to become a foreign service officer with assignments in Malaysia and Switzerland.
Benjamin founded Probe International, a political risk consulting firm, in 1970. He appeared frequently on cable and network television news programs as an expert in his field.
Benjamin was pre-deceased by his wife, Evelyn, and is survived by his sister Zelda, his three children and five grandchildren.
