Beatrice Hunt

Beatrice Hunt, 88, of Albany, NY and formerly of Cooperstown and Valley Stream, NY passed away peacefully at her home on March 19th, 2021. She was born on February 11th, 1933 to the late James and Bridget (Nee Loughlin) Campbell in New York City, the second child in a family of three daughters. She grew up on the west side of Manhattan, and then relocated to Rockaway Beach, NY. She attended Ascension High School and worked for DuPont before getting married and moving to Valley Stream raising her family and eventually working for the Village of Valley Stream in the library and town hall. Beatrice was predeceased by her devoted husband Francis J. Hunt in 2001. She is survived by her loving children, Cathryn Hunt Mizbani of Schenectady, NY, Christopher Hunt (Denise) of West Fenwick, DE, and Maureen Pace (Anthony) of Freeport, NY, her two sisters Mary Nestor of Ossining, NY and Theresa Heaney and brother-in-law Pat of Peekskill, NY. She is also survived by her three cherished grandchildren: Matthew F Mizbani, Mariah C Mizbani, and Saoirse Hunt. Beatrice was a devoted aunt to 19 nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
