Barbara J. (Piccinini) Lombardo

Barbara J. Lombardo 94, of Valhalla, N.Y. and most recently of Ossining, N.Y. died on July 9, 2019. She was born on June 6, 1925 to the late Joseph and Marjorie (nee Tindall) Piccinini in Ossining, N.Y. She was a member of Rocky Ledge Swimming Assoc. in North White Plains, N.Y. and was an avid walker, hiker and gardener and loved to cook. Barbara was predeceased by her devoted husband, Salvatore M. Lombardo in 1977 and her brother, Joseph Piccinini and is survived by her loving children, Barbara (Bob) Macedo of Garrison, N.Y., Catherine Lombardo of Valhalla, N.Y. and Robert S. (Monica) Lombardo of Mt. Kisco, N.Y. also survived by her three cherished grandchildren, Robert Macedo, Teddy and Alison Lombardo. Visiting at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Saturday, 10 AM-11:30 AM. A private interment will follow at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to the Valhalla Fire Co. #1 P.O. Box 25 Valhalla, N.Y. 10595, would be appreciated.
