Barbara A. Collins, 77 most recently of Kunkletown, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, October 2, 2017. Barbara was born in the Bronx to Charles and Adele Simms where she lived most of her life.
Barbara loved music, especially Elvis and The Four Season. In her spare time, she was very crafty and was passionate about her doll collections. Most of all she loved spending time with friends and family.
Survived by her husband Timothy Collins, brother Ronald Simms, sister Denise Pepe two daughters, Cheryl and Dawn Marraffino, Her twos stepsons Timothy and Kevin Collins and her daughter-in-law Karen. Barbara is also survived by her seven grandchildren; Melissa (Kijewski) Morales and her husband Luis, Michael Pardy and Ethan, Emerson, Katelyn, Allison and Vincent Collins.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 10:00AM to 12:45PM at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 West Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532, (914)-769-4404.
Funeral services will follow immediately at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery located at 10 West Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532, (914) 769-3672.
