Barbara Joyce Bernard

Barbara Bernard formerly of Hartsdale, New York passed away on May 10, 2022.

Barbara was the mother of Donna (her late husband Edward), Mark, (his wife Emmer), and Karen, She was the grandmother of Lindsay, Evan, Ben, Ryann, Corey, and Lily and great grandmother of Carsyn, Ellie, Avery, and Ruby.

Raised in the Bronx, Barbara started her career as a teacher and in 1975 helped start a home health care agency.  She remained active in the home health care business for over 40 years. Her knowledge and expertise in the industry was unparalleled and the respect the community had for her was extraordinary.

She was a proud grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed spending time and holidays with the family.

She loved the Yankees, Frank Sinatra, reading, traveling, and Mah Jongg.

She will be missed and remembered forever.
