Barbara A. Alfero

Barbara A. Alfero 80, most recently of Mahopac, N.Y. and formerly of New Fairfield, CT, Mt.Kisco, Pleasantville and Valhalla, N.Y. died on July 31, 2020 at her residence. She was born on July 3, 1940 to the late Thomas and Angelina (nee Rutigliano) Iodice in White Plains, N.Y. She was co-owner of Alfero’s Restaurant in Valhalla, N.Y. with her husband John.  Barbara is survived by her devoted husband, John Alfero of Mahopac, N.Y. and by her loving children, Mark (Charlene) Alfero of Socorro, New Mexico, Gerry (Nellie Ramos) Alfero of Mahopac, N.Y. and Veronica (Charles McGlade) Alfero of Eugene, OR. also survived by her four cherished grandchildren. Predeceased by her four sisters and two brothers. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, 11 AM-1:00 PM. Where Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
