Aurora Guercio

Aurora Guercio 85, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on July 22, 2021 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y.  She was born on March 29, 1936 to the late Vincent and Rosina Reda in Domanico, Italy. She was an avid cook and gardener. Aurora was predeceased by her devoted husband, Salvatore Guercio in 1992 and is survived by her loving children, Eugene Guercio of Wappingers Falls, N.Y., Antoinette Surace of Bronxville, N.Y., Rosa Vazquez of White Plains, N.Y. and Gina (Angelo) Giacomo of West Harrison, N.Y. one brother, Pasquale (Anna) Reda of Monroe, CT and one sister, Rosette Aversa of Yonkers, N.Y. also survived by her eight cherished grandchildren, Dave (Dina), Chris (Irene), Stephen, Lena, Salvatore, Jessica, Jenna, Jillian, and four great grandchildren, Stella, Dylan, Rocco and Sadie. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Monday, 10 AM. Entombment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
