Augusto (Gus) Roma

Augusto (Gus) Roma 94, of Valhalla, N.Y. and most recently of Pleasantville, N.Y. died on April 13, 2021 surrounded by the love of his family at his residence. He was born on August 15, 1926 to the late Vincenzo and Teresa ( nee Testani) Roma in Arnara, Italy. Gus was owner-operator of Roma Landscaping in Valhalla, N.Y. He was an avid Rangers, Giants and Yankee Fan and loved gardening, playing cards and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his devoted wife, Antonietta (nee Fiore) Roma of Pleasantville, N.Y. and by his loving children, Vincent (Alyson) Roma of Valhalla, N.Y. and Diane (Joseph) D’Onofrio of Thornwood, N.Y. and son in law, Damian Giamanco of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y. also survived by his seven cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Kristin, Christopher, Alexandra, John, Danielle and Alex and one great grandson, Marco. Predeceased by his beloved daughter, Teresa Giamanco in 2016. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 10:30 AM-12noon, Where Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon.
