Audrey (Santospirito) Salib

Audrey Joan (Santospirito) Salib left us on September 1, 2023 to join her beloved family and friends in heaven.  She is pre-deceased by her beloved husbands Frank Piccicacco and Fathi Salib, her parents Frank and Antoinette Santospirito, and her brother Frank; survived by her two sons Edward (Amy) Salib, George Salib, and her two precious grandchildren.

Audrey led a spectacular life, growing up in the Bronx, graduating from Aquinas High School and considered becoming a nun because of her strong faith.  But that path was not meant to be, and she became a loving wife and later gained a new ambition working in the hospitality industry, traveling the world with PanAm & Intercontinental Hotels.   She lived in Egypt with her second husband and raised her two boys state-side, with her family’s education and their Catholic faith the center of all they did.  From her work as a lunch aide at Highview Elementary to several telemarketing positions, she excelled at connecting with people and helping them with their problems and needs.
In her Golden years she became an integral part of My College Advisor in Hartsdale, NY - where she helped prep many Westchester high school students and families for the college application process - all while dutifully caring for her mother who lived to 99 and living up to her reputation as a treasured friend, mom, & grandma!

She had an insatiable love of books and Barnes & Noble, a loyal commitment to the Lord and her church Sacred Heart, and an unmatchable lentil recipe that was hearty enough to satisfy all hungry bellies.  She also required we take a photo together - everywhere!
