Arthur Zimmerman

Arthur Zimmerman 96, of Long Beach, N.Y. and most recently a resident of The Knolls of Valhalla, N.Y. died on March 13, 2019. He was born on Nov. 29,1922 to the late Jacob and Sarah (nee Altman) Zimmerman in Brooklyn, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army from 1944-1945. He was owner-operator of various Real Estate and Building Inspecting Businesses in Long Beach, N.Y.  Arthur is survived by his devoted wife, Renee (nee Miller) Zimmerman of Valhalla, N.Y. and by his loving daughters, Linda (Michael Handler) Zimmerman of Sharon, MA., Wendy (Allan Cohen) Zimmerman of Pleasantville, N.Y. and Karen Zimmerman of Great Neck, N.Y. also survived by his four cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Alexandra, Sarah, Joshua and one great grandson, Channing. Predeceased by one brother, Howard Zimmerman. Funeral Service at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, 11 AM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
