Arthur A. Witt

Arthur A. Witt 94, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Dec.6, 2020 at his residence. He was born on Feb.9, 1926 to the late George and Isabel (nee Sherry) Witt in Yonkers, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a retired Electronic Technician with IBM in Hawthorne, N.Y.  Arthur was an Avid Gardener.  Arthur was predeceased by his devoted wife, Catherine (nee Murphy) Witt in 2013 and also predeceased by his brothers, George, William and Aloysius. He is survived by his loving children, Arthur A. Witt, Jr. and his late daughter in law Gail of Haymarket, VA. and Isabel (Robert) Hoffmann of Harrison, N.Y. also survived by his four cherished grandchildren, Robert (Toni) Hoffmann, Emily Hoffmann, Brian (Brittany) Witt and Jennifer Witt (Peter). Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, 9 AM-11 AM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. at 11:30 AM. Entombment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
