Beloved Pharmacist, Devoted Husband, Cherished Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather
Arthur, born February 7, 1932, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024. He was a graduate of James Monroe High School and went on to earn his degree in pharmacology from the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy.
Arthur proudly served his country in an Army M.A.S.H unit during the Korean War. Upon his return, he and his two partners purchased Kipp's Pharmacy in Ossining and Briarcliff, NY, where he served his community with dedication and care for many years.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marlene (Knoll) Offenberg, with whom he shared a cherished marriage of 56 years until her passing in December 2011. Together, they built a loving family. He leaves behind his children, Richard (Maria), Laurie (Ron), and Jill (Anthony); grandchildren, Jesse, Caroline, Nicole (Harris), Michael (Ana), Andrew (Samantha), and Austin, five great-grandchildren, his Sister Natalie and many nieces and nephews.
Arthur was a true NY Giants and Yankees fan and, later in life, discovered he had a great talent for painting. He enjoyed dabbling in the stock market, frequenting an occasional casino and playing tennis.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Arthur will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. May his memory be a blessing.
