Arthur Carosi

Arthur Carosi passed away on October 21, 2023 in Ossining, NY at the age of 72. He was born on April 24, 1951 in the Bronx, NY to Jack and Bice Carosi. He is survived by his wife Dayle Schlinger; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Nicole Carosi; sisters Patricia (Frank) Vitelli and Laura Jean Carosi; mother-in-law Shirley Schlinger; brother-in-law Ken (Kathy) Schlinger; grandchildren Gianna Carosi and Michael Carosi; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Dominic, and father-in-law Izzy.

Arthur was a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School in the Bronx, NY before attending Bronx Community College and Manhattan College where he received his degree in radiologic technology/science. In addition to his work as an x-ray technologist, he was an adjunct lecturer of clinical radiography for many years at Hostos Community College. His career culminated with the position of Chief X-Ray Technologist at the Montefiore Medical Center: Einstein Division in the Bronx, NY until he retired in 2019.

Arthur was incredibly proud of his family. He loved watching his son Michael play soccer, football, and lacrosse at Ossining High School and became a volunteer for the Ossining Athletic Booster Club. He had a strong passion for learning the history of World War II, driven by both his father and father-in-law serving in the war and surviving the D-Day Landing. His spirit was warm and inviting and he loved to make those around him laugh. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones.
