Antonietta Roma

Antonietta Roma 92, of Valhalla, N.Y. and most recently of Pleasantville, N.Y. died on May 11, 2021 at her residence. She was born on Jan. 31, 1929 to the late Sebastian and Luisa (nee Funari) Fiori in Arnara, Italy. She was an avid cook and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Antonietta was predeceased by her devoted husband, Augusto Roma in April, 2021 and also predeceased by her beloved daughter, Teresa Giamanco in 2016 and her siblings, Felicitta Roma, Costanza Scenga, Giacinta Battaglini, Mario and Enrico Fiori. She is survived by her loving children, Vincent (Alyson) Roma of Valhalla, N.Y. and Diane (Joseph) D’Onofrio of Thornwood, N.Y. and son in law, Damian Giamanco of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y. and sister, Angelina Roma of Thornwood, N.Y. Also survived by her seven cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Kristin, Christopher, Alexandra, John, Danielle, Alex and great grandson, Marco. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 10 AM-12 Noon, where Religious Services will be held at 12 Noon. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Nicholas Center, Pleasantville, N.Y., would be appreciated.
