Antoinette Visconti passed away peacefully on Friday evening April 20, 2018 at the age of 101 years old. She was looking forward to celebrating her 102 year birthday with her family and friends. Antoinette (Silano) Visconti was born in Torrington, Connecticut and moved with her family to Eastchester, New York when she was a child. She remained a resident of Westchester County throughout her life. She moved to Plano, Texas after the death of her devoted husband of 61 years Henry T. Visconti and traveled back and forth to Westchester regularly.
Antoinette is survived by her two loving daughters Henrietta Leary and Phyllis Lutcza, her devoted sons-in-law John Leary and John Lutcza. She is also survived by her precious grandchildren and their spouses Kimberly Ann Leary (Poppe) and Alan Poppe and John Henry and Christina Lutcza, and was extremely proud of her great grandchildren Gianna and Mia Bella Lutcza and Colton Poppe. Antoinette is survived by her two loving sisters Lena Silano and Marie Gasko and her brother Frank Silano. She misses her predeceased brothers John, Michael, Adam, Ralph and George Silano. She enjoyed the company of her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her family was the center of her life. Antoinette was a lifelong member of the Christian Apostolic Church in Eastchester New York. She remembers fondly all her wonderful friends with whom she grew up and shared loving times and lasting friendships, Amen. Visitation will be at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue, White Plains on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Friends will gather at the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30am to follow to Kensico Cemetery where the Interment will follow. We will miss her kindness, generosity, dedication, determination and sense of style. Be not afraid because the Lord is with you! Rest in Peace forever!
