Anthony (Tony) Monaco 71, of Thornwood, N.Y. and formerly of Yonkers, N.Y. died on Oct.26, 2017. He was born on May 2, 1946 to the late Anthony and Margaret (nee Cyriax) Monaco in Bronx, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army. He was a Plumber with Forsythe Plumbing and Heating in College Point, N.Y. Anthony is survived by his devoted wife, Janet (nee Forte) Monaco of Thornwood, N.Y. and by his loving sons, Anthony (Susan) Monaco of Nanuet, N.Y., Steven (Jennifer) Monaco of Wappingers Falls, N.Y. and Louis Monaco of Thornwood, N.Y. one sister, MaryEllen Krankus of Yonkers, N.Y. also survived by his four cherished grandchildren, Julianna, Elizabeth, Peter and Matthew Monaco. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, 6-8 PM. and Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville, N.Y. on Tuesday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society, would be appreciated.
