Anthony J. Valinoti 85, of Greenwich, Conn. and formerly of Elmsford, N.Y. died on May 3, 2011. Affectionately known as Uncle Tony. He was born on May 9, 1925 to the late Frank and Theresa (nee Gallo) Valinoti in Brooklyn, N.Y. Anthony proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He was a retired Tool and Dye Maker with Sonotone in Elmsford, N.Y. and later worked for Philips Electronics in Tarrytown, N.Y. Tony loved boating and could fix just about anything. Anthony is survived by his brother Raymond Valinoti (Eileen) of Murray Hill, N.J. His nieces and nephews; Debbie and Joe Mackin of Hawthorne, N.Y., Ann Marie and Guy Barile of River Valley, N.J., Marguerite and Jim White of Chatham, N.J. and Raymond Valinoti, Jr. of Murray Hill, N.J. Brother in law of Stephen Paulo, Sr. of Greenwich, Conn. also survived by Peggy Paulo of Greenwich, Conn. and predeceased by his one sister Marie Paulo and his nephew Stephen Paulo, Jr. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday 5-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday 9:30 AM. Interment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Rosary Hill Home 600 Linda Ave. Hawthorne, N.Y. 10532 would be appreciated.
