Anthony J. Tiso

Anthony J. Tiso 87, of Valhalla, N.Y. and formerly of Mt.Vernon, N.Y. died on Feb.10, 2010 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y. He was born on August 12, 1922 to the late Louis and Carmela (nee Bruno) Tiso in Clearfield, Pa. He worked for the Mount Vernon Police Dept. in the Parking Meter Shop. Anthony is survived by his devoted wife Marie (nee Chiappinelli) Tiso of Valhalla, N.Y. His loving children; Louis A. Tiso and his wife Denise of Novi, Michigan, Jeanne McSherry of Chappaqua, N.Y. and Barbara Zanzano and her husband Nicholas of Hawthorne, N.Y. Also survived by 2 sisters, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Predeceased by his son in law Donald McSherry, 1 sister and 4 brothers. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday and Monday 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Tuesday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society 2 Lyon Place, White Plains, N.Y. 10601 would be appreciated.
