Anthony C. Sacco

Anthony C. Sacco 91, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Sept. 26, 2012 at Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Ossining, N.Y. He was born on May 6, 1921 to the late John and Mary (nee Bruno) Sacco in NYC. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII. Anthony was a retired self employed CPA in NYC. He was a member of the Mount Pleasant Seniors, Valhalla Lions Club, Valhalla American Legion Post 1038 and Knights of Columbus. He was predeceased by his devoted wife Angelina Sacco in 2006 and seven brothers and two sisters and is survived by his loving children, John (Penny) Sacco of Pound Ridge, N.Y., Marie (Louis) Mercadante of Hawthorne, N.Y. and Michael Sacco of Oakland Park, Fla. also survived by his two cherished grandchildren, Courtney Sacco and Philip Mercadante. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Friday (today) 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Saturday 10 AM. Entombment, Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, N.Y.
