Anthony Joseph Rocco, Sr

Anthony J. Rocco, Sr. 91, most recently of Albuquerque, New Mexico and a former longtime resident of Eastchester, N.Y. died peacefully on Oct. 17, 2012. He was born on May 17, 1921 to the late Giuseppe and Filomena Rocco in Scarsdale, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII. Anthony was predeceased by his devoted wife Alice Rocco in 1982 and is survived by his loving son, Anthony J. Rocco, Jr. and his wife Jeannie. His sisters, Anna, Lizzy, Mary, Lillian and brothers, Artie, Frank and Joe. Also survived by his cherished granddaughter, Alicia Rocco and many other loved ones. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and tremendous love for his granddaughter. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, 11 AM- 12:45 PM. Graveside Services will be held at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. on Sunday, 1:00 PM.
