Anthony J. Magee

Anthony J. Magee 68, of West Harrison, N.Y. died suddenly on Oct.11, 2009 at his residence. He was born on Dec.12, 1940 to Anthony and Ruth (nee Valentine) Saile in White Plains, N.Y. He proudly served with the US Coast Guard from 1958-1960. He was owner operator of Scarsdale Hardware for many years until presently. Anthony was predeceased by his wife Alice A.(nee Schramm) Magee in 1978 and 2 daughters Patricia Magee in 1978 and Kathleen Magee Sullivan in 2005.Besides his mother, Ruth Van Scoy of West Harrison, N.Y. He is survived by his loving children, Anthony J. Jr. of Bronx, N.Y. Michael S. of Fishkill, N.Y. Matthew P. of West Harrison, N.Y. Sharon L. Faiella and her husband Jaime of Mohegan Lake, N.Y. and Diane Wisner-Magee and her partner Amy of Pomona, N.Y. 2 brothers Douglas and Donald both of Fla. and 7 cherished grandchildren. Also survived by his former wife Susan J. Magee and her children; Michael, Suzanne, Jimmy and Virginia. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tues. 7-9 PM. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Thursday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
