Anthony J Gabriele

Tuesday, August 13, 2013, Anthony John Gabriele, 57, of Peekskill, NY, died suddenly at his home. In his early years, Tony was a resident of Elmsford, NY, where he attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School. He is a graduate of Stepinac High School in White Plains and SUNY at Oneonta.
Tony worked for the USPS in Tarrytown, NY since 1989. A life long Yankee and Rangers fan, avid golfer, member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and loving father, Tony will be missed by all.
Predeceased by his father, Anthony M. Gabriele, Tony is survived by his son, Christian Michael Gabriele, his mother, Helen Gabriele, sisters, Elaine Slone and her husband Darrell, Susan Appel and her husband John, and Barbara Aken and her husband Lee. Additionally, he will be missed by his nephews Anthony, Matthew and Lee Jr., and his nieces Amanda, Nicole, Jordan and Daniella.
We love you Tony and will miss you. You are forever in our hearts.

Visitation services for Tony will be at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home in Elmsford on Monday, August 19, from 2:00-4:00 PM, and 7:00-9:00 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Elmsford on Tuesday, August 20, at 10:00 AM, with burial following the mass at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in White Plains.
