Anthony J. Ferone

Anthony J. Ferone 85, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on May 5, 2020. He was born on April 9, 1935 to the late Salvatore and Jenny (nee DeMicco) Ferone in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. He served proudly in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a graduate of NYU. Anthony was associated with the Family Business, White Plains Bus Co. for many years and later was a Postal Clerk with the Scarsdale Post Office. He was predeceased by his devoted wife, Nancy (nee Boyle) Ferone in 2018 and by his beloved son, Anthony J. Ferone in 1983, two brothers, John and Salvatore (Dickie) and one sister, Anne Ferone. Anthony is survived by his loving daughter, Mary Grace Ferone of White Plains, N.Y. and his two brothers, Peter (Rosie) Ferone of Mahopac, N.Y. and Paul (Rosemary) Ferone of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y. also survived by his grand dog, Coco. As a result of the Current World Health Crisis, a private family burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
