Anthony F. DeMizio, Sr

Anthony F. DeMizio, Sr. 86, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Dec.6, 2015. He was born on July 27, 1929 to the late Frank and Anna (nee Cioffi) DeMizio in West Grove. PA. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Anthony was a retired Letter Carrier in the Bronx, N.Y. He is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy DeMizio of Valhalla, N.Y. and by his loving children, Anthony (Deborah) DeMizio, Jr. of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. and Frank P. DeMizio of Valhalla, N.Y. one sister, Margaret (Mickey) Daleo of New Rochelle, N.Y. and one brother, Frank (Mickey) DeMizio of Yonkers, N.Y. also survived by his two cherished grandchildren, Christina Jaeschke and Amanda DeMizio and two great grandchildren, Anthony and Emma. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Wednesday, 10 AM. Interment, Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y.
